Ho! Mitakuye oyasin. Hecetu welo!
Welcome to my home. I greet you from my heart. My name is Trevor. I am English. How are you?
Each and every man and woman is free and has equal rights to things. They are sure of themselves in their mind, and they should treat each other as if they were siblings. (UDHR).
All my relatives, it is indeed so.
I’ve chosen the language of the Teton Oglala Lakota Sioux as my second language, for my own purposes of learning, to share with the Lakota people, to help with my spiritual beliefs through meditation, and to share with any other brothers and sisters of any and all other nationalities, no matter who you be or where you’re from, or what your religion or belief be.
My interest is in living in peace and harmony. My simple request is for world peace. That has been my interest in life from childhood. My other childhood connection has always been with the Native American Indian in general. As a child, I was always told to play the role of the Indian. Over the years, this particular nation of people somehow stayed with me, followed me, become a part of me. Strange as things seem, it’s true. And here I am at 56 years of age, learning their language, learning their spiritual ways, collecting items of interest and importance to me. Studying their history through reading books, watching documentaries. this isn’t an infatuation or a phase in life only to be forgotten after a few weeks. this has been with me for a very long time, and when it comes the time for me to reach the end of my road in life, and go to the day of the quiet, then I’ll be ready for my Spirits to greet me.
I mentioned my interest in a simple request for world peace. I believe it’s not a difficult task to fulfill for the human race. It’s only become a difficult task to accomplish, by those few humans who find their pleasure in ignoring what is a legal entitlement to the many disadvantaged humans. Those few humans who demand more than they need, while denying their many innocent fellow humans that suffer at the hands of the inhumane humans, our oppressors. those few fellow humans that seem to place themselves above the law of the land, and the law of others. A legal system created as one set of rules and regulations, developed for the purpose of protection and obedience by all humans. Now it has been rewritten, manipulated, picked apart, played to serve the advantage of favour to one party while levering disadvantage to the other. The equality of humanity being swiftly separated into two disproportionate chunks of social class, the wealthy versus the poor, classic stations in life. One self-important, the other struggles.
This has become something of an unacceptable standard of life for living. Two such extravagant levels in life. Something needs to be done. Something needs to be changed. this much is true.
So how will it be done? Who will lead the way? What will the cost be in financial terms, and human grief? Will it come to a revolution by the people?
Will our governments come to their grip of reality and understand the mentality of their responsibilities? Are they capable of making such an effort in facing the truth in their destructive appetite? I don’t know, I’m not a medicine man, or a holy man, I cannot predict the future. I’m just a passionate believer of hope. And with that hope, I’d like to share with everybody who feels the same as I do, that someday, world peace will come to us all.

You are awesome. Have a nice day. I will see you again eventually. Thank you.
