The Political Arena

We’ve seen the world of politcs change dramatically over time, moreso since the end of WWII. And the last 50 odd years things have changed much faster.
War has occupied a very wide area of our planet, based on political power and corporate wealth. All this is covered up through a war machine involving propaganda, lies, murder, control of foreign resources, invasion incorporating the excuses of defending from terrorism. How can a nation such as America use defense from terrorism by invading the country they accuse of being a terrorist state? How can the American powers that be fight a terrorist group they created? How can the politicians, the corporate lobbyists and the military powers blatantly lie to their own people? Easy. None of them have any scruples or honour. Profit is their only concern.
Then we’ve got the likes of this TPPA situation cropping up around the world. Another corporate strategy designed for the purpose of increasing the already over-indulgent wealthy in ever increasing profit. Only this dirty system uses the basis of a legal system created by the wealthy few to protect the wealthy few from being prosecuted, but allowing the multi-national corporates to prosecute any government that doesn’t abide by corporate trading through means of suing the government involved with any corporate that’s trapped that government into an unrepayable debt.
All this would be incomplete without the corrupt politicians, directly/indirectly involved. Wheeling and dealing in bribes, financially influencial gains, anything that gives them a big return with very little effort and expense to themselves, yet is proven to be an expense to anyone else, usually the victim of this game being those unaware of the situation, until it’s too late to realise and act. And even if anything could be done, nothing would be returnable to the victim/s, as the loss would be to the victim in the long run, and not the wealthy instigator/s involved.
So what can be done? Well, to start with, we have to recognise and accept the fact that it’s time to stand up and be heard. We have to find a ways and means of fighting back against such unacceptable behaviour. the corporatists, their lobbyists, the politicians, the military strategists, they’re aware of the wrong they’re committing, their positions of responsibility involved, and the consequences that come with their actions.
We can voice our stand through petitions, or we can follow that of our Icelandic and French brothers and sisters, by making a protest. We could take the simpler more placid method of voting these sort of corrupt politicians out at election time, but what impact would that make on any future government. our Icelandic and French relatives have made their mark by not only letting their government and fellow populace knowingly witness what they stand for, but their impact has spread across the world. I truly admire and respect these people for their courage and belief in their stand against political distortion of law, and the abuse of power by those responsible for the running of their day to day affairs of political administration and representation of the people.
If any member of the public can be arrested for an act of violence, or any form of activity that requires the law to step in and be upheld, then the same should be applied to those breaking the law from within the political and/or corporate sector of society.
The law was originally designed as a vessel of one law to be obeyed by all. So let’s get our legal system back up and running as it was originall designed to serve. It’s time for justice to be served.
